Click the Eagle to see a tribute to the military...
Faye Fraser was our guest speaker last meeting. Faye is the Media and Physician Relations Representative for Twin Cities Community Hospital here in Templeton.
Faye shared with us a very informative Power Point presentation highlighting some of the medical industries’ most advanced and technical abilities available in the medical community.
Three construction projects are underway at Twin Cities totaling $7.6 million and scheduled for completion by the end of 2010. Over 9,500 square feet is under construction to provide Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), an integrated Outpatient Service Center, and the addition of medical surgical beds.
The new Outpatient Center will integrate Radiology, Cardiology, Laboratory and Respiratory services at the hospital. The Center is being constructed at a cost of just over 2 million and adds 4,700 square feet. They hope, Faye said, to provide for outpatient needs as a “one stop” service.
The economic impact the hospital has on our community is very impressive: 512 total employees earning $41,645,655 in salaries with $2,263,314 capital funds reinvested, totaling an economic Impact of $43,908,969.
