Rotary of Templeton Newsletter
|
May 14, 2009

Rob Rosales presented our program last meeting. Rob, a former business owner in Templeton, now, as the President of the Templeton Chamber, promotes business and commercial interest and development in Templeton.
Our club has been involved in several events the Chamber provides the community, like Cowboy Christmas, Founder’s Day, and the Wine and Roses Bike Ride (275 riders last year). Other events include: Business Roundup, Day in the Shade, and the annual Quilt Show (not happening this year due to illness, but will be back).

The Chamber also provides a Quarterly Newsletter and Annual Business Directory. Rob talked about some projects the Chamber is spearheading: a Gateway Sign project and a Landscape Enhancement project down Main Street to include trees, flowers, and benches.
Rob has been the Chamber of Commerce President for almost 4years and thinks it may be time for him to step down this year. However, he would like to stay involved at some level, in promoting commercial development in Templeton. You can visit the Chamber website at www.templetonchamber.com/home.
