December is "Family Month!"
Foundation Trustee Chair Glenn E. Estess Sr. says, "Rotary is like a family in so many ways -- in the ways we lift each other up, help each other grow, and accomplish things together that we never could alone."
At its November meeting, the RI Board adopted a revised strategic plan that comprises three priorities, all of equal importance to Rotary’s future.
The priorities are:
* Support and strengthen clubs.
* Focus and increase humanitarian service.
* Enhance public image and awareness.
Tuesday, 1 Dec, we will decorated the boxes for distribution in the Templeton community.
Last year 30-plus Templeton families were glad to receive their baskets of food and toys, with love from the Rotary Club of Templeton.
Rotary and TCSD are doing it again, and the number of needy families may be higher due to our economy.
Patty Andersson is coordinating this event. There are ways in which club members and members of the Templeton Community can help. More information will be posted on our website in the next few days. |
