According to those in attendance, Brenda Cressey delivered a “stirring” presentation regarding the RI Foundation, its service around the world, and how each Rotarian makes that happen.
“We can change the world”, she believes, through “personal commitment and passion” for whatever it is that makes Rotary relevant for each member, and keeps them actively involved and connected to their clubs.
Brenda reminded us of “The importance of every Rotarian’s contributions, no matter how big or small, to The Rotary Foundation each and every year”, and that “Our gifts to the Permanent Fund ensure our foundations ability to address the world’s greatest needs, for many generations to come, by becoming a Benefactor or Bequest Society Member.”
“Let us never forget,” she said, “the magic of The Rotary Foundation” and “the importance of our total support.”
Brenda concluded, “Together, as Rotarians and business leaders in our communities, we must ensure our foundation will forever allow Rotarians to offer hope to those who feel hopeless and provide opportunities to help lift people around the world from having to live in extreme poverty.”
